Welcome to Skiing4all
Skiing4all is run by Anna Wegner, a British Psychologist and an Austrian-qualified Ski Instructor. Everyone interested in skiing, no matter what their cognitive disability or learning difficulty might be, is invited to the beautiful Austrian ski resort of Zell am See-Kaprun. It is undoubtedly one of the easiest ski resorts to be reached from the UK. All it takes is just a short flight with Ryanair, Easyjet or Thomas Cook to Salzburg and one-hour airport transfer to the resort!

We had a tremendously successful last winter with many of our Guests returning again for 2010/11 Season. I would like to thank them here for all the kind letters, emails and summer postcards, which we have received. We are particularly grateful for the great suggestions of how we can make your skiing holiday even more fun for the children and relaxing for their parents!

CRÈCHE: Due to popular demand, this season we are launching our own English-spoken crèche facility near the slope area for all the children with learning difficulties over 3 years old and their siblings! You will now have the choice of booking with us either the "skiing only" program or the one combined with a crèche/activities. The crèche will be run by a British Psychologist and there will be a maximum of two children with cognitive disabilities looked after one carer at any one time. The crèche program will include both the specially designed indoor activities as well as the outdoor activities and excursions, such as swimming, horse riding or sledging, depending on the children’s individual needs and weather conditions on the day.
FREE SKI LIFT PASSES: We are very happy and proud that our activities have been given a mark of distinction by the two largest ski lift operators in the area. The Schmitten AG in Zell am See and the Gletscherbahnen AG in Kaprun have generously agreed to sponsor skipasses for the children with cognitive disabilities taking part in our Skiing4all programs.
With even more to look forward to, I hope to welcome you in Zell am See very soon! We have just started to take the bookings for 2010/11 Season so there is still a chance to book the peak season weeks. However, for those of you who can come outside the school holidays, I really recommend skiing in the low season! It has its distinct advantages, including quieter slopes (perfect for skiers with learning difficulties) and lower costs of travel and accommodation. Many of our previous Guests have managed to arrange the school leave for their children during the term time as the head teachers recognised the therapeutic benefits of a skiing break with us.
This season we will be running our programs from 19th December 2010 to 6th May 2011. Whenever you decide to come, you do not need to worry about the snow! Thanks to the proximity of our Kaprun glacier, skiing on the natural snow, either in Zell am See or Kaprun, is possible all year round, even in the summer!
I am looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you in our Winter Wonderland very soon!
Kind regards
Anna
