Zell am See - Kaprun
Lying snug between the shores of the beautiful Zeller Lake and the magnificent Schmittenhöhe mountain, which is known for its most breathtaking views over the Alps, this romantic resort charms every guest that was fortunate enough to experience its natural beauty. Dating back to medieval times, Zell am See is probably the most attractive lakeside ski resort in Austria. It has a sophisticated atmosphere with plenty of shopping and dining opportunities. The apres-ski can be lively but quieter, cosy options are also available.
When it comes to diversity, Zell am See is unbeatable! You can go shopping, experience some culture, go skiing, swimming, snow-shoeing or horse-riding, play tennis or golf, enjoy our brand new Alpine thermal spa and have a fun evening out - all in one day!
Neighbouring Kaprun, a 10 minute bus ride away, is situated at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and although smaller, still offers a good selection of bars and restaurants in its rustic centre.
These two fantastic all-round resorts sharing a tremendous ski area continue to attract visitors time and time again.
