1. Psychologist
You or your loved one will have the benefit of skiing on a one-to-one basis with a professional psychologist. In the recent years there has been an increasing number of disabled skiing associations and schools springing up, primarily in the US and Canada. These establishments offer skiing for children and adults with a wide range of disabilities, primarily those of physical nature. To the best of our knowledge, none of these organisations specialises in the cognitive difficulties. What is even more significant, none of them appears to employ psychologists who are better suited to work with cognitively disabled skiers and who, in addition to the usual skiing activities, can also provide psychological therapy through sport activities. This is because work with persons who have special educational needs requires a well-structured approach, which is much more easily applied by qualified psychologists and therapists. You can also rest assured that there will always be a personal consultation before any activities begin to establish good relationship and to set flexible goals.
2. English Language and "PECS on the Slopes"
Excellent communication skills are absolutely vital to any successful teaching or therapy program. Unfortunately, many of the adaptive skiing associations or schools, even in the English-speaking countries, employ persons who do not speak English at the level required to bring the best of out of the persons with cognitive disabilities. You will never have this problem at Skiing4all! In addition, with non-verbal Skiers, we also use our specially-adapted "PECS on the Slopes" system.

before the Skier's arrival;
- Professional help with choosing perfectly fitting skiing equipment;
- Free pick-up service of the Skier every morning from the hotel or apartment in
Zell am See - we can start skiing while the rest of the family is still getting
ready for the slopes!
- Free lunchtime and break supervision of the Skier between the skiing sessions,
if required;
- Free assistance in finding a good value accommodation, often with special
